OUIL404 3D & Lens

I decided to look at a mutation that was based off something that I would associate myself as I am today which is that I drink a lot of coffee. I decided to do a series of photos of me drinking coffee and coffee beans appearing on me rather than one singular photo as I felt a singular one wouldn't capture the evolution of the mutation.

At first I began with the idea of my mutation being based of a bull due to my nose ring being reminiscent of a bull and the fact that when I was a child I was referred to a bull in a china shop. However I decided against this as I'm not excited by this concept also I don't have the availability of a china shop to take the photo in and the crafting and attaching of the rings would been a whole load of issues that would need at least a weeks work of development and problem solving.

I'm going to get the coffee beans to appear on my face like african face markings as then the mutation links to heritage. 

With the final result my major issues where with painting on the coffee beans and getting the lighting and the framing of my face. However it was an interesting project to do in collaboration with a professional photographer as they would be able to help with composition and lighting.
