| Moving on from my initial idea of using text and old oil paintings I started messing around digitally with text. What I found was that the variety of facial expressions pulled in old paintings was of poor quality and as they say if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. |
And thats how we got to these gems. Though the text need to be composed a lot better and and the expressions may need to be slightly more subtle I feel like I've created the enigma code with these diamonds here. They show the character that I wanted to turn catherine into without me having to resort to just drawing I was able to use lens and type to create these which is ace. Practice on type is needed. Maybe look back to marion and his hand drawn type, practice on paper and use the light pad to work out how to fit the words around the images.
