OUIL406 Final Images

Evaluation
With this brief I took a risk and I think for the most part it paid off. Personally myself, type and lens have never gotten along but in this project I forced myself to become more adaptable and patient with things trying and trying again until the image was how I wanted it to be.  Because I did this I didn't have as much time as I'd of liked to to the stamps and they're more of an afterthought than the others which have been so well worked on. If I had to do it again I probably just have myself pulling some ridiculous faces on the stamps at a side profile with the dates and stamp having the regal and the ridiculous expression contrast each other and send a better tone for the rest of the images. The postcard to me are the most successful; pieces of this project, I loved creating and polishing the images for print. I found that even though I did the type to scale and scanned it in at a high dpi the type quality is still rough around the edges especially on the poster. When I use type again I'm just going to use paint, ink or posca/fuder brush pens to hand draw it on and then either scan in and reduce the size of the image or just do some touch ups. Finally the poster was difficult to get the text in the right place but over all I think it was a success.
