Day1 Static Observational Drawings

Because I live in the city, almost the centre I thought why not get the sounds of the city via your living room. We have a lot of people coming and going from here, you can hear things like construction, traffic, business bustling etc from our own home. I just did some continuous line drawings, finding that this method helps me capture the moment of an event, faster and with more honesty than trying to sketch it out then draw over it.





I'm thinking of sitting on the Parkinson steps from 11:30 -2 next week to capture the business of a university campus and the city mingling together.
