Similar to Hurtado's collage work I'm thinking of making one of my poster based off collage work made of the photographs I took in town. Mixed in with more traditional drawings maybe the clash of aesthetics, colour and media will echo the chaos of the city.
Edwood's and Takemasa's work is more literal, narrating a scene what one would find in the city, either something very specific like bread at the baker's stall in the market or a busy intersection in the city. More narrative and scenic however I don't think I want my work to be that literal. Creating sound visually is very abstract to me and I won't my work to reflect that. Maybe create a non-linear or non classical narrative in the poster depicting how I adapted this foreign way of working and visual depiction to suit me.
