OUIL404 Photoshop Workshop 2

Learning how to work with multiply with colour on photoshop I found myself having to work with multiple layers as a way of being able to control my colours.

Using gaussian blur filter I was able to experiment with highlighting the face without it seeming out of place. It's a useful technique to know for both faces and scenery.

Adding texture can work on a piece if it is composed correctly and adds to the piece rather than being a crutch or fancy gimmick for the image. In this case I do not think that the texture adds anything to the image at all.

The use of texture here however feels a lot more appropriate as it adds dimension to the piece by being limited to the head dress, creating a focal point in the image.
