OUIL404 Ping Zhu

In this piece their is a harmony between both colour and shape, Using contrasting colours (the orange skin and blue clothes and background) brings the figures to the fore ground a pushes the blue into the back ground.
I truly admire how exhaustive Ping Zhu is with her drawings, this kind of ethos has helped her both hone and improve her craft.

I feel that although I draw excessively both in and out of college I don't experiment with media enough or allow myself to be more abstract and experimental with my images unlike Ping Zhu. Taking a leaf from her book it may be an idea for me to start creating colour palettes on tracing paper as well as having myself an experiment book where pencil and fineliners are not allowed.
